GRĘPIELNIA’s  name was inspired by the building in which it is located. The factory-villa complex, which was built over 150 years ago, housed a factory which was one of the largest producers in Austria until World War II. In the mill, with use of special combs called gręple, the workers teased wool  to produce cloth for coarse upholstery for the wool industry.

Today, in a new style, after a renovation finished in June 2013, it invites to discover the unique atmosphere created through fusing tradition and modernity
